Medium bio (~75 words)

David Chenery is a designer, systems thinker and entrepreneur. Co-founder of Reassemble, he has spent 15 years designing excellence under real constraint — creating award-winning spaces for GAIL's Bakery, Michelin Green Star restaurants and global hospitality brands.

His keynote, Excellence Under Constraint, reframes how leaders think about growth, energy and organisational resilience. The argument: most organisations don't fail from scarcity. They fail from dilution. David shows what it looks like to build systems that endure — and audiences leave thinking differently about their own.

Long bio (~100 words)

David Chenery is a designer, systems thinker and entrepreneur. As co-founder of Reassemble, a sustainable design practice based in London, he has spent 15 years answering a question his industry often avoids: can you achieve more by using less?

His projects include a Michelin Green Star restaurant delivered at 41% less embodied carbon than a typical fit-out, nineteen sites for GAIL's Bakery, and a commercial retrofit achieving BREEAM Excellent certification.

His keynote, Excellence Under Constraint, translates those lessons into a framework for any organisation navigating growth, complexity and change. Most don't fail from scarcity. They fail from dilution — and David shows leaders how to stop the leak.

Our next speaker has spent 15 years doing something most people consider impossible: achieving more by using less.

As co-founder of Reassemble, David Chenery has designed spaces for some of the UK's most recognised hospitality brands — including GAIL's Bakery and London's leading low-waste Michelin Green Star restaurant — all under the kind of real-world constraints that most businesses spend their careers trying to avoid.

What he discovered along the way is the subject of today's talk.

His argument is simple. And uncomfortable. Most organisations don't fail because they lack resources. They fail because they misunderstand constraint.

Please welcome David Chenery.
